This is how incredibly BIG, FAT, and LAZY I am
There I was, at home last night, alone. The house is quiet. The children are gone, the husband is working. "Ah," I think to myself, "A night of knitting, quietly, in front of the TV!"
Then I remember. The damn remote is still missing. How on earth can I select one station to watch, and on a Monday night when there is NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING on TV.
So, I play it safe and watch Friends for a while. I believe Friends repeats are on 24/7 on some channel. I get three rows done with Friends (hey, I have over 500 stiches on a row, get over it!)
Eventually Brent comes upstairs. I ask him to change the channel. He puts it on something stupid like "7th Heaven" which I can only stomach for about 35 seconds. So he changes it again. There is NOTHING on.
Do you know that we left it on "Deal or No Deal" for almost 20 minutes??? How sick and wrong is that?
I have to buy a remote on my way home from work or I may kill someone.
Oh wait... I can watch Fox tonight. All night. It will be ok.

I am so sorry. You may never recover. I'll get the appropriate agency to come and pack up your things. There's a nice refuge for you somewhere, I hope.
I would highly recommend that you start watching 24 on Fox. It is an AMAZING show and one where you will want to loose the remote so you don't accidentally change the channel. Sorry I didn't come see you, I'll do that soon -- it was mid-terms this week.
